At the 2026 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, Kimera Automobili unveiled the K-39, a road-legal hypercar that marks the Italian company's debut as a fully independent automotive manufacturer. The car abandons the restomod philosophy to be born from a blank sheet of paper, with its own chassis number, becoming a project that modernly reinterprets the legendary "Silhouette" racing cars of the 1980s, particularly the iconic Lancia Beta Montecarlo Turbo, and features pleasing references to the Ferrari F40 at the rear. Al Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este 2026, Kimera Automobili ha presentato in anteprima mondiale il modello K-39, un'hypercar omologata per l'uso stradale che segna il debutto dell'azienda italiana come costruttore automobilistico indipendente a tutti gli effetti. La vettura abbandona la filosofia del restomod per nascere da un foglio bianco, con un proprio numero di telaio, diventando un progetto che reinterpreta in chiave moderna le leggendarie auto da corsa "Silhouette" degli anni '80, in particolare l'iconica Lancia Beta Montecarlo Turbo, e presenta piacevoli richiami alla Ferrari F40 nella parte posteriore.
