"honestly what,in detail, was so bad about 2010? personaly this has been one of my best years ever. aside from that we got the u.n. to put back that homosexuality is still a needless death and DADT got repealed not to mention that the LGBT movement has really taken up steam this year and is taking more positive steps."

Things I didn't list include the agonizingly slow death of The Public Option and the total sellout on drug importation/price negotiations (in July 2009, but we didn't find out until this year), the gutting of the financial reform bill (the ONLY good thing was Elizabeth Warren being appointed to the consumer protection office at the Fed), the ACTA 2010 negotiations (in which our rights are even more curtailed), the increasing authoritarianism EVERYWHERE, the complete betrayal of the Liberal Democrats in the U.K., Italy's Prime Minister surviving his vote of no confidence, China still being the last large mercantilist nation on the planet even while the first world continues to weigh trade agreements against the third world, the anti-gay crusades in Africa, the many losses suffered at the state and local level (including the antics of Bob McDonnell and Ken Cuccinelli), and the list goes on and on.
But I will not only persevere, I will thrive.
