The young and very talented Hindustani Classical Vocalist Noopur Gadgil is the featured artiste in Episode 7 of the popular IndianOil Now Hear Us series of digital concerts. Her music is an amalgam of the Gwalior, Jaipur and Agra gharanas. At her recital she performs a wonderful Raag Chhaya Nat followed by Raag Shahana Kanada and concluding with Raag Basant. The compositions were by Sadarang, Pandit Gajananrao Joshi, Raja Bhaiya Poochwale and others and taught to her by her guru Pandit Madhukarbuwa Joshi.
Noopur was accompanied by Tanay Rege on tabla and Dnyaneshwar Sonawane on harmonium.
