TM Krishna and the Jogappas were the opening musical act at the BLR Hubba festival in Freedom Park, Bangalore. Despite the pouring rain, a large number of listeners and fans turned up to experience this high energy, exciting music...and they were not disappointed. The blend of Krishna's Carnatic and the Jogappas' rustic folk music was seamless.
Besides the five members of the Jogappas, Krishna's accompanists were Akkarai Subhalakshmi on violin, Praveen Sparsh on mridangam and Chandrasekhara Sharma on ghatam. Together they created some truly joyous music and had tremendous fun making it, sharing this positive spirit with the audience.
