Pokemon Black and White were magic in such a different way than I was used to. The sleek graphics made me feel at home in Pokemon in a way I really never had before, and the menus and connective interfacings felt better than ever- there was genuine enchantment around every turn. This led me to the Dream World, a magical albet convoluted player companion that would have you send Pokemon off the DS and onto a browser game to continue having adventures with. It was not the easiest thing to get into as a kid at the time, but the few moments I had with it were magical. It was very similar to Neopets and Webkinz and feeling, but with the added miracle of the downloadable pets being the one you had caught yourself on your DS. And the Dream Ball is just one of the small pieces of magic put in that made the whole thing special- but I find it so cool a full Experience was commemerated with its own themed Poke Ball. Even cooler than Mudkip! This one's for all the Electrode, Kabuto, and Nidoran fans out there.
