The icebreaker® ‘Move to Natural’ challenge, hosted by VF Corporation, tasked the finalists of the Redress Design Award 2022 to design a solution for a 100% natural fibre product that aims to reuse textile waste from the icebreaker® supply chain from sheep to shirt, supporting the brand’s ongoing efforts to eliminate unnecessary plastic from performance apparel. The winning team, with finalists Lívia Castro and Federico Badini Confalonieri joined by Hong Kong fashion students Natalie Jim Yu-Ching and Hanna Wong Chin-Wa, impressed the judges with their innovative use of formerly waste materials.
