The Ute Trail is one of the most famous hikes in Aspen Colorado. The typical Ute hike climbs 3000 feet from the town of Aspen to the top of Aspen Mountain, but in winter, it's a whole different ball game. With no beta on how to hike the Ute trail in winter, on a warm winter day in Aspen, CO we set out to hike the Ute Trail in the snow and see how far we could get. Let's just say no one else has yet been crazy enough this season to hike (or rather post-hole) beyond Ute Rock!
