What would you do if you got caught in a blizzard while out hiking?
We've always said we would build a snow shelter and wait out the storm. But it's one thing to have a game plan, it's another to know that your plan will actually work. So we decided to put our survival skills to the test and see if we could survive winter camping without a tent.
On a stormy winter weekend, we snowshoed up to the Lake Sabrina area in blizzard conditions to build ourselves a snow shelter and camp overnight. And let's just say...
This. Was. Brutal.
