In this video, we take you along as two adults learning to ski at Mammoth Mountain Resort, breaking down the exactly how we’re learning to ski later in life and what we’re doing to overcome the challenges.
We’re planning to make this a whole beginner/intermediate skiing series, where we focus on:
* The challenges of learning to ski as an adult
* The specific intermediate ski techniques we’re working
* Real-time self-critique and analysis of our ski footage
* Practical tips that are actually helpful for beginner and intermediate adult skiers. We’ve all seen videos from super advanced skiers teaching us about technique, and, while that’s great, sometimes we just want to watch someone that actually gets how hard it is to learn how to ski!
This isn’t a polished ski edit — it’s a real look at what progression actually looks like when you didn’t grow up skiing. If you’re an adult beginner skier, getting back into skiing after years away, or thinking about learning to ski later in life, this video is for you.
