It is classic local sporting song which tells the history of the great John Mangan who passed away in 1916 and this headstone was erected by "Gaels of the Parish" to remember him. John has sung this song at this grave for me and other people many times over the years and that day he was singing it for a group of folklore studnets from Geroge Mason University in Virginia, USA. It was a wet and windy day so please excuse the noise on the mic.
