Thisfissure dates back to 1913 when a volcanic eruption occurred on the fissure swarm that extends to the north-east from Hekla volcano. This video is therefore part of my coverage of the infamous volcano and its area of influence, which in this case is extremely impressive in terms of visuals. This formation will be covered with a voiceover when I find time to remake my Hekla video, but experts do not seem to agree on whether this eruption can be classified as a true Hekla eruption since it look place on it's fissure swarm. But the source seems to be Hekla though, and this is in a way, the forgotten Hekla eruption, as far as I'm concerned for my channel. The lava goes by the name"Lambafitjahraun"
