California is racing to protect its most critical ecosystems from the long-range impact of climate change and other human activity. In the state’s vast deserts, the work of the Mojave Desert Land Trust is critical to that effort. Through land acquisition and plant and wildlife conservation efforts, the MDLT’s researchers are working to make sure the Mojave’s biodiversity is protected.
