An important update to my earlier video on Neal Graneau’s wire-tension experiment.
After repeating the experiment with improved temperature measurements, Neal found that the apparent residual force was consistent with thermal expansion. This video explains what changed, what the revised result means, and why it does not automatically settle the wider question of Ampère’s longitudinal force.
