For nearly 30 years, the island of Alcatraz held some of America's most feared and dangerous criminals. The Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary claimed it was escape-proof. The men it held inside, with nothing left to lose, would soon put that claim to the test.
Please note that this program was made in 1993. The US Marshals Service still has an active warrant out for Frank Morris and the Anglin brothers. It will expire by 2030, by which time the three men will be 99-100 years old, if they are still alive.
