In the past, the fix for mismatched data formats across services was an observability team going around enforcing standards, what he calls the "slap on the wrist" model. AI can just resolve those differences instead. One service emits in sentence case, another in snake case: AI papers over it. The enforcement layer disappears. Teams get to move without waiting for someone to come standardize their output.
