Village Global Chairman Reid Hoffman says the AI bubble narrative misunderstands what a bubble actually is.
A bubble collapses because nobody wants the thing. That's not what's happening. Anthropic's revenue is limited by its compute, not its demand. Intelligence at the cost and scale of electricity is massively useful and massively wanted. Some data centers may get written down. Some bets will lose money. But a bad investment in a real market is volatility, not a bubble.
