Here it is! The first cover of mine that was chosen by way of an online poll. (Aside from 8-Bit Battleground stuff of course) This song won against Hello, Happy Kingdom from Super Mario RPG, and Boilerworks from Luigi's Mansion 3. Will I revisit those songs at a later date? Probably at some point, but this is the one that got the most votes so it got done now. If you want to take part in future polls, make sure to check out my social media links below. :) I plan on doing this once a month, but there won't be a poll for December, as I have plans for videos already, and I have some holiday plans taking up some time as well.

For this cover, I knew I had to go full on energetic metal mode, but I also went pretty proggy with it by having some sections be in 15/8 (replacing two of the normal bars of 4/4), and having lots of different keyboard sounds, including some lead parts! I've been enjoying using more non-guitar sounds in my covers, and playing keys as well despite my keyboard that's not very good. I also wanted to make sure this didn't sound too much like the cover of this song by Snappleman from the Project Chaos OCRemix album. That was an album I listened to a ton when I was younger, and although I think I succeeded in making mine sound different, I ironically ended up with a lead synth sound reminiscent of Snappleman's covers anyway lol.

For the video, since I've felt pretty lukewarm on my green screen results so far, I decided to take a different approach with this one, and record most of it like I used to, but record some parts with my green screen to put over top. I found that I couldn't move around as much with the green screen, especially for the bass and rhythm parts where I tend to move a lot, so this was a nice compromise, and I think it looks mostly better, although I'm still working through issues with green screen lighting. You can probably still see some spots where the edges of my guitar (and myself) look a little strange. I think I'm slowly getting there though!
