Critical Issues Commentary | The Dishonoring of God in Popular Spiritual Warfare Teaching, Part 13 – Certainty or Circumstances @CICministry | Uploaded August 2021 | Updated October 2024, 9 hours ago.
In this episode we show that one cannot determine spiritual realities based on symptoms or circumstances. Bob DeWaay uses Jeremiah 44:15-25 to show the error in doing so. In Jeremiah’s day the people determined to worship the Queen of Heaven rather than obey God because they believed their lives were easier when they did so. They rejected the Word of God in favor of idolatry based on circumstances. We must rest in the certainty of the revealed Word of God rather than make decisions based on the symptoms and circumstances in our life.
