The Dead Flowers Graves proudly unveil their rendition of the iconic Misfits track "Dig Up Her Bones". Known for their distinctive blend of Heavy Doom and Occult Prog, the band offers a deeply personal tribute to a group that has inspired them for years.
“This is our heartfelt homage to an iconic band we’ve all been listening to forever—the Misfits—reimagined through the lens of Type O Negative,” the band shares. “The lyrics, in their simplicity, are beautiful, poignant, romantic, and hauntingly mortal. We felt a strong connection between the song and an alternate artwork we had originally created for Elemento, our latest release. Using that artwork felt like the perfect way to honor this tribute.”
Released in October via Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records, Elemento is available now on all streaming platforms and as a CD edition. The EP features haunting compositions that showcase the band's unique fusion of Heavy Doom and esoteric atmospheres, cementing their status as a rising force in the genre.
Founded in 2017, The Dead Flowers Graves has forged a path through the mystical and esoteric, weaving their unique soundscape with influences of doom metal, spiritism, and legend. Featuring a charismatic female vocalist whose haunting and shamanic presence defines their sound, the band channels a ritualistic energy that captivates fans of acts like BLOOD CEREMONY, JESS AND THE ANCIENT ONES, and THE DEVIL’S BLOOD.
With "Dig Up Her Bones", The Dead Flowers Graves invites listeners into a spellbinding journey—where the dark allure of the Misfits meets their signature mystic sound. Whether you’re drawn to the profound atmospheres of Heavy Doom or the ethereal realms of Occult Prog, this release promises to enchant both long-time fans and newcomers alike.

Hailing from the blackest heart of the Midlands, UK-based three-piece rock/doom/sludge metal outfit Master Charger has officially signed with Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records. This marks an exciting new chapter for the band, known for their distinctive blend of ballsy, bluesy, groove-fueled, doom-laden rock ‘n’ roll sludge, a sound that has been described by fans as a “SATANIC BLUES RUMBLE.”
Formed in 2006 from the ashes of previous semi-successful projects, Master Charger quickly carved out their own niche in the heavy underground scene. Over the years, the band has refined their sound through multiple releases, starting with their debut album Unity in Black (2011), followed by Eroding Empires (2016) and the 2020 full-length Origin of the Lugubrious. They have since shared stages with heavyweights like Monolord, Orange Goblin, Black Rainbows, Conan, Raging Speedhorn, Fireball Ministry, Dead Witches, Overkill, Alunah, Paradise Lost and many more, performing at renowned festivals such as HRH Doom vs Stoner, HRH Metal Chapter III and Hammerfest XI.
Master Charger draws inspiration from some of the most influential names in heavy music, blending the raw power of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Motörhead with the aggressive edge of Slayer, Venom, Celtic Frost and Black Flag. Their sound also channels the intensity of Mountain, Free, Trouble, Saint Vitus and Pentagram, creating a unique fusion of vintage heaviness and unrelenting groove. Their raw, unfiltered energy has earned them a dedicated fan base, further cementing their status as a formidable force in the doom/sludge metal world.
With their signing to Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records, Master Charger is set to unleash their latest material, beginning with their brand-new single and video—out now! Rising from the shadows of the French metal scene, All We Leave Behind are proud to announce their signing to Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records. The band unveils their first single and official video under the label, “Nailed to a Dark Fate”, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their dark and powerful musical journey.Formed in 2018 in Grenoble, All We Leave Behind was founded by two seasoned musicians: POG on guitars and growls, and Olaf on drums. The lineup quickly expanded with Hell D on guitar and, in 2021, S.CRUMB, a prominent local bassist, joined to solidify the rhythm section. Bringing added depth and melody, Tony, POG’s son, initially joined on keyboards before taking over drums in 2022 following Olaf’s departure.Drawing inspiration from Doom, Goth, and Death Metal, the band channels the spirit of icons like Black Sabbath, Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride, Type O Negative, and Candlemass. Their music delivers an uncompromising vision, exploring profound themes such as ecology, religion, and the fragility of the human condition. Heavy, slow riffs intertwine with haunting piano melodies, while intricate bass and drum patterns create a sound that is both melodic and intensely powerful. With a distinctive sonic identity and confident artistic direction, All We Leave Behind offer a deeply immersive experience, blending raw emotion with dark beauty. “Nailed to a Dark Fate” is the perfect introduction to their world, setting the stage for what promises to be a compelling and unforgettable era for the band.
