Liljevars Brann, in partnership with Octopus Rising, promises to ignite the metal scene with their unparalleled sonic adventure, "Helja Kor." Prepare to be enthralled by their mystical black metal prowess.
Emerging from the void, Liljevars Brann is the brainchild of vocalist and composer Sjelvindur, alongside the accomplished drummer Kristjan. These longstanding comrades, with a history of crafting extreme music spanning decades, united to form this nature-inspired, mystical black metal project in early 2021.
Liljevars Brann's musical voyage draws inspiration from the spiritual potency of early visionaries like Ulver, The 3rd and the Mortal and the Swedish Prog Rock legends, Landberk. Their sonic narrative is further enriched by a distinct individual essence.
Their inaugural album, "Helja Kor," a remarkable creation composed and recorded within a mere eight weeks in the spring of 2021, weaves a tapestry of an unfamiliar language, its meaning unfurling through pure sound, adding an enigmatic allure.
"Helja Kor" is a grandiose odyssey, comprising five expansive tracks and a runtime exceeding 50 minutes. It traverses through realms of dark acoustic folk, ethereal chants, intense and fierce vocal expressions, and black metal grandeur, perpetually infused with melodic brilliance.

Rising from the shadows of the French metal scene, All We Leave Behind are proud to announce their signing to Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records. The band unveils their first single and official video under the label, “Nailed to a Dark Fate”, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their dark and powerful musical journey.Formed in 2018 in Grenoble, All We Leave Behind was founded by two seasoned musicians: POG on guitars and growls, and Olaf on drums. The lineup quickly expanded with Hell D on guitar and, in 2021, S.CRUMB, a prominent local bassist, joined to solidify the rhythm section. Bringing added depth and melody, Tony, POG’s son, initially joined on keyboards before taking over drums in 2022 following Olaf’s departure.Drawing inspiration from Doom, Goth, and Death Metal, the band channels the spirit of icons like Black Sabbath, Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride, Type O Negative, and Candlemass. Their music delivers an uncompromising vision, exploring profound themes such as ecology, religion, and the fragility of the human condition.
