Recently, French Sludge/Doom Metal band Kaalbaår announced their signing to Octopus Rising / Argonauta to release their debut EP "Hail Mangoth", which is set for release on November 8th. Today, the band unveils the full EP details and a brand new single!

Kaalbaår was born during the pandemic in 2020 in the South West of France. While the world was locked down, 4 dudes united their passion for fuzz pedals and out of the grave vocals to create the band.
Inspired by bands such as Sleep, Monolord and Bongzilla, Kaalbaår creates a visceral sludge/doom to perpetuate the glory of Mangoth.
After playing several shows in and around Toulouse since it’s birth, Kaalbaår is decided to spread the unholy voice of Mangoth to everyone.

Rising from the shadows of the French metal scene, All We Leave Behind are proud to announce their signing to Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records. The band unveils their first single and official video under the label, “Nailed to a Dark Fate”, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their dark and powerful musical journey.Formed in 2018 in Grenoble, All We Leave Behind was founded by two seasoned musicians: POG on guitars and growls, and Olaf on drums. The lineup quickly expanded with Hell D on guitar and, in 2021, S.CRUMB, a prominent local bassist, joined to solidify the rhythm section. Bringing added depth and melody, Tony, POG’s son, initially joined on keyboards before taking over drums in 2022 following Olaf’s departure.Drawing inspiration from Doom, Goth, and Death Metal, the band channels the spirit of icons like Black Sabbath, Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride, Type O Negative, and Candlemass. Their music delivers an uncompromising vision, exploring profound themes such as ecology, religion, and the fragility of the human condition.
