The current state of the game is the best it's been for solo players because:

1) Components make high end guns rarer (better for solos who usually use mid or low tier weapons)
2) Components make it harder for clans to scale gear production like they could with BPs or XP
3) Buffs to the revolver and the Semi Rifle help level the playing field by giving solos access to high powered mid tier weapons
4) Hemp is more abundant so cloth is less of a struggle
5) The flamethrower debuff actually makes wooden bases viable again
