Hey, exiles. I made a video to present some data on how far an avatar can walk within one sixty second use. With how powerful avatars are, a lot of groups have been building multiple bases, but I think a lot of players do not understand just how far apart two bases should be so that they cannot be destroyed by one avatar.
I came up with estimates for how far each avatar can travel in sixty seconds measured in terms of how long it would take a player to walk the same distance. This makes it easy to measure out how far you want to build your second base from your first base. You can just have a stop watch ready and walk.
In 60 seconds:
Set can travel as far as you can walk in 4 minutes
Yog can travel as far as you can walk in 3 minutes and 30 seconds
Mitra can travel as far as you can walk in 1 minute and 90 seconds (He's bizarrely slow)
The numbers are somewhat approximate, but if you have all of your bases a 4 minute walk apart, you will be safe from an enemy being able to destroy two bases with one avatar.
Check out the intro of my video for an idea of how far a 4 minute walk is in the game (quite far).
Hopefully this provides some useful information for designing bases. This information might also be useful to further help people decide whether they think avatars should be nerfed, and if so, in which ways.

![The War Gnome (18K Stone, 3K Metal, 7C4 Hard to Raid Rust Base)
Small but mighty, the War Gnome reigns supreme in the Rust solo, duo, and trio base market. Bristling with stone and iron, this base features two state of the art prison cell airlock entrances (perfect for stopping door campers) and a second floor observation area. This base offers 360 degree fields of vision and fire around your entire base. Keep your loot safe with the War Gnomes six separate loot rooms and keep your base from being griefed with two external tool cupboards (make sure to put a lock on both). Enjoy the convenience of growing cloth in the bases protected courtyard (and never run out of cloth again). This base is a beast for the price and the design is fully updated to address the twig and TC updates.
