Now this game is my childhood right here!! I stumbled upon this game through friends playing it and I loved the concept and the gameplay a lot! Rayman 2 The Great Escape is an action platforming game where you control the main character Rayman on his quest to save his world from the pirates that took over the world and enslaved all the citizens. Even Rayman himself was captured at first but rescued through the help of his best friend Globox and Ly the Fairy. The game is all about platforming, fighting robot pirates and solving puzzles and getting stronger while you progress by getting new moves. All of this is stuff I love in video games so yeah, I was into this pretty quickly as a kid! The Cave of Bad Dreams is one of the levels and it's exactly what it sounds like, a cave full of creepy and scary things trying to get you. The music that plays was perfect for Spooktober I felt although I was a bit intimidated by it because I wasn't sure if I could replicate all the original creepy background sounds with just the drums but I feel like it turned out pretty scary regardless so I'm happy with that! I like the simplicity in the song and all the things that gets added later on, it really fits the level! Playing it on guitar felt great and yeah, this is some quality spook stuff right here so I'm glad I was at least somewhat able to replicate the original!
