About time I covered this one right? Haha Kirby's Dream Land on the Game Boy was Kirby's debut and he became a main stay character ever since! Green Greens is one of the first songs you hear in the game and I love how it immediately shows how cute of a character Kirby is with this cute tune in the background. As always, from my experience I can tell that Kirby music usually is super high in energy and this one was no slouch either there haha. It's very fast paced and energetic and I feel like it's such a meme at this point and definitely a song that made its return in later games many times going forward! If you've heard the original track, you might have noticed that the bass goes absolutely bonkers during the chorus to the point of it being unplayable for a human I feel. I transcribed all of it but there was no way that I could play that so I had to simplify that part by just sticking with the root notes and playing 16th notes so it still somewhat replicates the intensity of the original. It sounded pretty good so I stuck with that. I'm glad I finally played this absolute classic of a song and I hope you'll enjoy my Guitar Cover of Green Greens from Kirby's Dream Land!
