Here's my Guitar Medley of Mega Man X4!! This is the last game I played out of the many X games and I really enjoyed this one as well! Obviously because of the jump to the next generation of consoles, the game looks and sounds a lot different but the gameplay is mostly the same idea. You jump and shoot things just like always haha. The story and especially the cut scenes are laughable mostly because of the bad voice acting but I kinda wonder if it's one of those cases where it's so bad it's good you know haha. Huge leap in sound quality though and I love it! Songs like Slash beast are great, Magma Dragoon is super intense and the chorus in Storm Owl is some of the best Mega Man music pieces I've ever heard! I will say that this was without a shadow of a doubt the easiest Mega Man project I've ever put together since a lot of the songs I played use very basic rhythm patterns and even melodies so I like that I didn't feel like pulling my hair out this time having to play some of the super fast, complicated riffs from previous games haha. It's a very simple but effective approach that they took for this one and I'm super into that because I believe that the best stuff, is the simple stuff! This was also the first time that I'm playing in a half step down tuning for these videos because of the bass line in Magma Dragoon, it would've been unplayable otherwise so cool to have that under my belt. Anyway, it was great to play another X game and I hope you'll enjoy my Guitar Medley of Mega Man X4!
