In this video, The Blues Brothers, released in 1991 for the Atari ST by Titus.
After having caused too much chaos and damage, the sheriff has decided to seize the Blues Brothers' instruments and told them to leave the city. Jake and Elwood have a concert to do that very night and they cannot disappoint their fans so they decide to search the city in order to regain their instruments and make the concert happen. Obviously the police is not happy as well as some angry citizens and they will try everything to stop the famous duo. The game is a side view multidirectional platform where we control Jake or Elwood or both if you play with a friend and the goal is to retrieve all of the band's instruments scattered through 5 levels. We have 3 lives and every life has 3 hearts that we lose if we are hit by enemies or their weapons. There are also collectible bonuses like extra hearts or vinyls.
The graphics are good with nicely animated cartoonish-style sprites and ok backgrounds. The scrolling on the other hand is awful and the musics are (IMHO) poor chiptune versions of BB's classics.
