School is all about preparing kids for the outside world, right? So, why don't they teach kids how to stay fit and healthy?
Wellness, as a subject, goes beyond the basics to include meditation (to help with all that rampant ADHD), yoga, nutrition (not just the food groups) and other alternative health practices. Seems like a pretty reasonable thing to be teaching kids -- or does it?
We asked a bunch of the tuja team if they think 'wellness' should be taught in schools or if it's strictly the domain of parents. What do you think -- should it be added to the curriculum? And if so, at what age? What should be taught?
