Summer in Japan is hot so we decided to cool down and get the heart racing with some canyoning! We went on a weekend trip to the prefecture of Gunma, 2-3 hours north-west of Tokyo, to hike Mt. Akagi, visit a firefly festival and try to conquer a canyon for the first time.
