Today I am going to show you how to make a toned glass palette for use with any opaque media!
This will work great for:
Oil painting
Acrylics
Gouache
Alkyds and more!

Supplies:
Glass (you can use glass from a picture frame or better yet tempered glass like an old glass chessboard or cutting board or you can get some cut to size and edges sanded from a glass shop.
Duct tape
Grey paper or the grey backing from a watercolor pad
Cardboard or matboard
Craft knife

Please be careful when handling picture frame glass. Be sure to tape all the way around so you don't have sharp edges. Having it taped to cardboard is for safety incase you drop it and it was to break. This is not a project for children.
