Today, we are looking at the new Meeden soft body acrylic paint. I was looking for a matte soft-body acrylic I could use for gel printing and to refill my Himi jelly acrylic palette, and this looked like a good fit.

Pros:
Lightfast info and pigment numbers are provided on the bottle
Available individually or in sets
Matte
Smooth application
Vibrant colors
Great for gel printing
Great for underpainting
Perfect for mixed media as the bottom layer
Convenient nozzle top applicator
Beautiful color range
Affordable
Cons:
Most of the colors are transparent, so if you want to paint over darker colors, you will be limited.
As a mixed media artist and Gel print enthusiast thise paints are perfect for what I wanted them for. I recommend trying the 12 or 24 set of smaller tubes if you want a nice variety of colors to test out, the big set is a wonderful choice if you go through a lot of paint. It is a big upfront investment, but the lowest price per ounce of paint.
