As you probably already know, Nelvana recently went dormant, stopping all animation production because of financial issues with their parent company Corus Entertainment, as I discussed in a vlog a while back. But Nelvana/Corus also currently shares distribution rights to the 1985-1987 Berenstain Bears animated series (which just turend 40 years old today) with Berenstain Enterprises and WildBrain. I imagine it was because of how Southern Star (who produced the series alongside Hanna-Barbera Australia) was folded into Endemol Shine Australia 2013, and so Nelvana acquired the rights to the series so they could have the complete animated Berenstain Bears library (as they also produced the 2003-2005 series that aired on PBS.) So I thought I'd whip up this fake logo edit, if there were more contemporary reruns or releases of the series from 2013 onwards, where Nelvana would tack one of their modern logos onto something from their library, often coming after the logo of another production company/distributor of some kind, in this case the 2004 Nelvana logo showing up right after the infamous 1985 Southern Star/Hanna-Barbera Australia "thunderstorm" logo.
