Here’s a quick preview of a powerful new pause routine I’ve been developing for SteinWipe Pro as part of the upcoming production_mode Stein Switch Definition. This feature is designed to make pausing and resuming not only extremely fast and consistent, but completely purge-free. I’ve been tuning this for quite some time and finally achieved a flawless pause transition; with production_mode enabled, resume happens just seconds after pressing the button and no more bambu code dragging poops into your print.

I’ve identified and leveraged several Bambu firmware behaviors that make this possible, opening the door to many more advanced capabilities. Cleaner, more efficient pause transitions are just the beginning.. There are many ways to exploit BBL printer firmware with what I have learned here 😈
