Reach reviews the Army Armament AUG A1 Airsoft AEG. AUG airsoft guns are usually a reliable pick for those who are just starting airsoft and really want a cool-looking bullpup AEG for their first replica. With an upgradeable Version 3 gearbox, an integrated optic, sling points, and a collapsible foregrip, the Army Armament AUG tries to include all the bells and whistles for under $200. It performed fairly well during our field test and was even able to reliably hit a target at 175 feet with .25g BBs. It also handles well and is a ton of fun to shoot! Unfortunately, we encountered some issues with it, the biggest of which being a problem with the trigger. While we can't say that it's Corporate Approved, it can definitely be used practically on the field if it's the AUG you really want to go with.
