In 2019, a user on Facebook named Matty Roberts created an event called Storm Area 51 in an attempt to get people from around the globe to infiltrate the United States’ most secret Air Force research facility.
Almost overnight, the event absolutely blew up all over the internet and got over 2 million RSVPs from people ready to risk it all to see if aliens really exist. The plan was simple: they would all group up outside the restricted area, then “Naruto run” to the base. If they all went at once, there was no way they could be stopped.
It was perfect.
