It could be argued that of all the authors of the books of the Bible, the apostle Paul had the most impressive pedigree.
Paul wrote 13 of the 27 New Testament writings, or 14 if Hebrews is included, which would comprise almost 52% of the entire NT! However, this overstates his share of the total content because several of his letters are quite short. By word count, Paul wrote roughly one quarter of the New Testament.
Perhaps the greatest mystery concerning the apostle Paul is the frequently asked, and rarely discussed question, what was his relationship status?
In this study, we will go over 3 questions:
1 - Was the apostle Paul a lifelong celibate?
2 - Was the apostle Paul a widower?
3 - Was the apostle Paul divorced?
Key Scriptures for today’s teaching: 1 Corinthians 7:1-8
Unless otherwise noted, most Scripture will be read from the New Living Translation (NLT) Bible.
