My approach to beauty has always been to maximize the healthy, functional state of the body and let that health show up on the face.
There are much deeper connections to our faces than we think. Our tongue, airway, posture, even our pelvis are all part of the picture. When function in these areas is compromised, it affects our health, and what we may not realize is that those imbalances can show up on our faces as puffiness, eye bags, jaw tension, sagging and a general loss of vitality.
While this is not the only approach to aging well, it’s the approach I’m most passionate about because I believe the most sustainable way to age well is to address functional health first. Beauty becomes a natural side effect.
Always remember: Your health is your beauty. Seek beauty through health!
