The Art of Nature - Germany | THE ANCESTORS - A WINTER STORY | Bavarian Castles & Rauhnächte Customs @theartofnaturegermany | Uploaded January 2021 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
The ancestors of this hilly land were walking on the same ground as me today, which fascinates me so much. From the Romans and Germanic tribes to the knights of the medieval time – they all left their footprints and parts of their spirit at my favorite place; The steep and rocky castle hill with the most wonderful view into the Bavarian Alps. The village where I live in rural south Germany has a very interesting history and connecting with the ancestors of the land is a tradition of the Rauhnächte or twelve days of Christmas, that I want to show you in this winter story video.
