When a floppy disk had enough of life the Amiga's disk drive would send out a very unique sound in its attempt to read the disk. Imagine playing one of your favorite games only to suddenly be greeted with a sound that you know means the death of that game... It stings... It hurts... That's the Amiga's read/write error sound...
With every read/write error the Amiga offered a suggestion to you; To use Disk Doctor. Today we reminisce about the read/write error and that floppy drive sound as well as taking a look at Commodore's "cure", Disk Doctor. Does it have the prescription we need?
