The first game is better. I've beaten both, I know.This is a *real* review of Ghostbusters II for the NES. The game offers some charm but it's one of the hardest games ever made so most will not like it. Most, however, feel it's better than the first, these people have not beaten the game. They know not real pain. I kind of like it but what I really hate are reviews where such little time is spent on both games, universally calling this the better of the two... Critical thinking they lack.

I shouted out Jikyuu Gamer in this video. He's got a unique angle as someone formally of the United Kingdom now living in Japan. He plays the actual games on his real hardware, which I of course respect. He decides how long he will play them based on how much he paid for the game (in Yen) converted into how long it would take someone to earn (in British Pounds) it on minimum wage. I highly enjoy his takes on the games and recommend everyone give him a shot.

Published by Activision in April of 1990 for the Nintendo Entertainment System in America and December 1990 in Europe. There was no Japanese release. I played the entire game on my actual NES with no cheats and no turbo controllers. It's recommended for those who like extreme challenge, only the best can beat this game. First game is still better.
