Produced in 1976 by 1776 Productions, in association with Avon Productions, All Aboard America is the official promotional film — all about the American Freedom Train (a nearly 2 year long steam-powered coast to coast exhibition train that traveled 25,000 miles to celebrate America's Bicentennial, that carried over 500 artifacts of Americana — pulled by Reading #2101, Texas & Pacific #610 & Southern Pacific #4449) operating from April 1, 1975 to December 31, 1976. This film documents the process of the creation & operation of the American Freedom Train — from blueprint to reality.
Originally released on 16mm film and given out to the media, it eventually was released on VHS in the late 1980s or early 1990s, along with the newly produced The American Freedom Train Story documentary (which, can be seen here: youtube.com/watch?v=IZsxC7B40jc)
