3985 to Idaho depicts Union Pacific Challenger 3985 operating a pair of excursions from Salt Lake City, Utah to McCammon, Idaho (that took place over the weekend of April 20th & 21st, 1991)
Since the Production of this program, UP 3985 & UP 5511 have been donated to Railroading Heritage Of Midwest America along with a number of other pieces of the Heritage fleet. 3985 & 5511 are currently undergoing complete restorations to operation in the coming months. This show was the final show produced by Lasting Impressions, a video company that operated out of Louisville, Kentucky that produced railroad videos from 1982 to 1991. Most if not all of the Lasting Impressions shows are lost with only 12 having been found up to this point in Time.
