This is my piano cover of “The Briefcase” from James Horner’s “The Amazing Spider-Man” score. Just like my recent covers for Inside Oscorp (both are linked below), this was put together using the score sheets orchestrated by J.A.C. Redford and the instrumental cover will be up shortly.
I’ve always had kind of a soft spot for this score, partly because I learned to play a lot of piano from the movie’s piano book and later it helped to kick start my digital piano notation hobby. In a way, this has been a long time coming and just recently revamped. I’ve always like this little piano motif that’s all over the score and I think it’s interesting how bright it can be in some cues and how unnerving it can be in this one.
