I was lucky enough to catch a behind-the-scenes rehearsal of the amazing Shumka Dancers in Edmonton. The oldest dance company in Alberta, the folk ballet team performs a brilliant blend of traditional folk and modern interpretations of Ukrainian dance all over the world.
