My latest adventure in Greenland brought me to the far north of the country, to the remote town of Uummannaq, a rocky island surrounded by sea ice in winter. This is not an easy place to get to, nor is it an easy place to live, but the people that do call it home hold true to ancient Inuit traditions of hunting and fishing. During my stay, I was lucky to catch the annual dogsled race, where over a dozen teams spent hours completing a course out on the frozen sea. I was especially touched by the kind people and the quiet of this faraway corner of Earth, so I wanted to put together this film to show some of what I experienced.
