This is an experimental short film I made, followed by my exploration of philosopher Bernard Stiegler and his ideas on technology, AI, and the “age of disruption.” I examine how digital systems are reshaping human consciousness — and whether a new epoch of care and knowledge is still possible.

The first half of this video is my experimental short film, "The Age of Disruption." The second half is my reflection on the ideas behind the film — and on the work of philosopher Bernard Stiegler.

Stiegler argued that technology is never neutral. It functions as a pharmakon — both poison and cure — shaping human memory, attention, and consciousness itself. Today, as digital networks and artificial intelligence evolve faster than our social systems can adapt, the toxic side of that pharmacology has come to dominate.

In this video, I unpack Stiegler’s diagnosis of the contemporary crisis — from attention collapse and technological addiction to political regression and the erosion of collective meaning. I also explore his proposal for a possible way forward: developing new forms of care, knowledge, and social organization capable of transforming technology from a force of entropy into one of renewal.

The Age of Disruption is both a cinematic experiment and a philosophical inquiry — an attempt to think through whether a new epoch, oriented toward care, deliberation, and shared meaning, is still possible.
