Airfield Oranienburg (1936) near Berlin was part of a large Heinkel factory. It was a test site for new Nazi aircraft and is most known for the legendary Horten Ho 229 Flying Wing. It was one of the major airfields for the defense of Berlin. Some abandoned buildings still remain.
