Daniels Music Foundation | The 2nd Annual Danny Awards - March 19, 2022 @DanielsMusicFoundation | Uploaded March 2022 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Enjoy the replay of The 2nd Annual Danny Awards, sponsored by René Plessner. Hosted on March 19, 2022, at Symphony Space in NYC.
The Danny Awards is a global award show that showcases and recognizes the musical talents of individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. This event celebrates differences - while bringing individuals of all abilities together.
This year, we received over 100 video submissions from talented musicians from around the world. The competition was fierce for the top 10 Award Recipients. In fact, there was a tie for the #10 spot so we decided to include 11 honorees this year, plus the 2021 Danny Awards Fan Favorite. These artists were selected by our panel of judges, composed of musicians and music industry professionals. With talented vocalists, instrumentalists, solo artists, bands, and songwriters, the show was amazing - AND, our very own Daniel Trush (The Danny Awards namesake) and Gerry Powers took the stage. We hope you enjoy and help us celebrate these incredible musicians as we share their talents with the world.
