Nathan Figueroa vs Pepper & Salt BBQ's "Bovine Bonanza" BBQ Challenge With The BIGGEST Dinosaur Sized Ribs I've Ever Seen!
In today’s episode, I’m in Vero Beach, Florida at Pepper & Salt BBQ, a beloved local spot bringing authentic Central Texas–style barbecue to the Treasure Coast. They slow-smoke meats like brisket, pork belly burnt ends, ribs, sausage, and turkey using simple seasonings, wood smoke, and tons of time to create deep flavor and incredibly tender texture. Founded by husband-and-wife duo John and Heather, Pepper & Salt started as a backyard passion and has grown into a full-service BBQ destination. Along with the amazing meats, they serve classic sides like baked beans, coleslaw, mac and cheese, and banana pudding that keep customers coming back for more. Just a quick note, the current location as of 2/5/26 will be relocating in the future, so be sure to check online or give them a call ahead of time before visiting.
The "Bovine Bonanza" BBQ Challenge features three massive dinosaur-sized smoked beef ribs, smoked beef brisket, pork belly burnt ends glazed with General Tso sauce, and a quadruple smash cheeseburger topped with grilled onions and burger sauce. On top of all that, you also get six sides: baked beans, mac and cheese, green beans, coleslaw, potato salad, and banana pudding. There are also extra onions, jalapeños, and pickles available, but thankfully those aren’t required. I’ve got one hour to finish everything to win my $150 meal for free and earn some serious bragging rights.
