The wait is finally over.
The Holmes Hobbies 050 motor is officially ready, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.
When the factory changed the magnetics from my original design, I had a choice: release a motor that was just "good enough," or take the extra time to make it right. I chose to make it right.
That meant redesigning, testing, validating new magnetics, and making sure the entire system delivered the performance I originally envisioned. It took longer than I wanted, but I wasn't willing to compromise on quality.
The result is a motor that delivers incredibly smooth startup, excellent low-speed control, and the kind of torque and precision micro RC crawlers deserve.
